She is a 14 year old Warmblood mare that was maybe started in her younger years but since then has just been living in a pasture doing nothing. Her owners would like to be able to hop on her and do some pleasure stuff at home along with trail riding and some dressage work.
For this class (young horse training) I will have Rose for the entire school calendar year. We will spend the first term getting a solid foundation on her on the ground. The two remaining terms we will be under saddle! Our class meets Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays each week so we only get 3 days together a week with a month off for Christmas. I am excited to progress with her week after week. Pictures are promised!
